Dr. Hansen is originally from Colorado. He attended the University of North Dakota for Aeronautics and soon after graduating became a pilot for American Airlines. He was based in San Juan, Puerto Rico but it wasn't long before he developed a passion for healthcare. He enrolled in the Biochemistry program at Colorado State University. He then attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (DMD) before completing his six-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Parkland Hospital. 

Dr. Hansen is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (ABOMS) and completed additional training to earn his medical degree (MD).  He is excited and proud to open a new oral surgery office in Sioux City.
